Female,
Comedian,
90 years old,
SEATTLE, United States
I started comedy in 2005 and in my first year made the regional finals for Nick at Nite's National Comedy Search. I competed in a show hosted by (The) Roseanne in LA at The Laugh Factory with some amazing other female comics, including Cathy Ladman. This year I competed against 100 other local comics and made the cut for NBC's Stand Up For Diversity showcase show at the Comedy Underground, which featured local legends such as Kermet Apio, and Harrold Gomez, and was hosted by Last Comic Standings' Ty Barnett. I then went on to make the National Finals for this showcase and performed in Los Angeles with the other top 10 national finalists in a big fancy show put on by NBC and hosted by Bill Bellamy who was cute and funny but did not put out. In San Fransisco, I performed at Grace White's Women Who Kick Comedy Butt's Show after which Grace wrote; " Aziza Diaz, from Seattle, was the evening's delightful surprise. Talk about speaking in your own voice. Watch for her, she's on her way." In Seattle, I perform at all of the clubs as well as the alt venues like Laff*Hole, and Making Strangers Laugh regularly. I co-ran and co-hosted Lo-Ball, a bi-monthly comedy show in Ballard for ProK.
Please do not try to figure me out. If I can't do it you can't either.
