born and raised in nyc by my grandmother, comedy has always been apart of my life.
i was always told that " crying over everything won't solve a thing".
those words were so true.
i use to make light of situations and was able to solve alot of issues with LAUGHTER.
being a mom of 3 wonderful children and a wife to a wonderful man, has made he more tuned in to my "funny" side.
when i watch how my family interract with each other i laugh.
especially the kids.
i have all age groups right now, they're 10 and 5 years spaced apart so i get to see each of their stages all at once.
how does my family feel about me doing standup? they think that in itself is funny as hell! alot of my jokes come from watching them! i just cant wait to take the next step towards this dream of mine...tv and movies! oh yeah i'm waiting for that.
so far i've been fortunate enough to have performed at the big chill in charlotte, at all of diamond and pearls events, i've hosted the 2nd annual charlotte literary festival, hosted 1st annual womens empowerment festival, performed at club tempo in charlotte against other comedians for a chance to open up for steve harvey , and now the skys the limit! look out for your girl yve! i'm coming yall! check me out on youtube!http://www.youtube.com/yvececee
