Abfahrt Hinwil is Chris Cunningham (co-owner of Toytronic Records and no relation to the music video director) and Martin Haidinger (AKA Gimmik).
Most of their songs shift between soft ambient and driving electro, with gorgeous techno melodies throughout.
They have a full-length CD on Toytronic called Links Berge Rechts Seen ("On the Left of Mountains On the Right of Lakes") and a few vinyl-only releases as well.
"Abfahrt" is the German word for "departure" and Hinwil is a municipality in Switzerland.
Num Num is another project of this same duo.
