Max D. Adams (I)

For her script, 'My Back Yard', Max Adams received a Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, and won an Austin Heart of Film Festival Screenwriting Award for her script Excess Baggage (1997) that same year.
Max's script was purchased by Columbia Pictures and released in 1997 starring Alicia Silverstone.Since dubbed "Red Hot Adams" by Daily Variety, she has worked with most of the major studios on myriad projects in development.
Her feature length screenplays include: 'Annie Alone', 'The Philosopher's Stone', 'The Ladykillers', 'One For The Money' and 'The Eye Of The Stone'.Max's book, "The Screenwriter's Survival Guide; Or Guerilla Meeting Tactics and Other Acts of War" was published by Warner Books in March of 2001.
She is currently at work on a second book and her next feature screenplay.
